Every Nebraska county has benefited from the Nebraska Environmental Trust since it was created in 1992. Projects range from small beautification projects to major grants to improve habitat and to keep some of Nebraska's most beautiful places free from development. The Environmental Trust website includes lots of excellent information about funded projects and how funds have been distributed to every corner of the state.
